Caliber Garage Doors Visit Website
The Caliber Garage Doors website was a website redesign project. The primary goals were to attract new customers and increase web traffic using SEO. After the first two weeks of launching the site the web traffic was up more than 40% and the Caliber Garage Doors customers were taking advantage of the new website.
California Dirt Prototype Visit Website
The California Dirt Prototype is an online portal for anything outdoors, pulling reviews from many different online sites to one location. When completed it will allow users to find and read about outdoor locations in California. The website is built from the ground up on a custom database which allows for a great deal of flexibility.
L.A.W.N.Visit Website
The L.A.W.N. website is an online company brochure. Everything is done with ActionScript 3.0 and Photoshop. Since this was a school project, the ActionScript file can be seen here.
The Self Feeder Visit Website
The Self Feeder is a website built for Jim Mackinga. Jim created a daily devotional book and needed a website to showcase it. The website allows users to read about the book, purchase the book, and contact the author.
The Water Closet Project Visit Website
The Water Closet Project is intended to be a kiosk, in a museum, or used online as a way of learning about the water closet (which is also known as a toilet). The site has about 30 pages of information on everything you need to know approximately the water closet, with each page containing a short "did you know" fact. This project takes something dirty and disgusting and turns it into something clean and fun.
LA and OC Beach Cities Prototype Screenshot
LA and OC Beach Cities is a prototype for an interactive website timeline. It is a timeline that provides information on Los Angeles and Orange County Beach Cities. Each city includes a brief description, its population, incorporation date, and multiple pictures to help visitors decide on which city they would like to travel to.
IHN Warriors Visit Website
IHN Warriors is a private, non profit, travel baseball club located in Upland, California. I designed and developed the website using mostly PHP. The website is built as a tool for the coaches and families of the team. Integrated into it is a blog for families and coaches to share their thoughts, as well as a news section for the coaches to communicate with the team, without having to use email.
Allden Properties Screenshot (Website Coming Soon...)
Allden Properties is a website designed for the prospective tenants to view available homes and apartments for rent. It provides forms for prospective tenants to download or fill out online. It also has a contact form where applicants interested in renting can contact the owner to ask questions.
miniHOME Website Prototype Screenshot (Website maybe in the making...)
The miniHOME website protype will provide information on the first mobile, green, sustainable house that is available on the market today. The RV sized miniHOME has a heavy-duty recycled steel chassis which allows for easy relocation. The offical site can be found at minihomeparks.ca.

"Making Nice" is an online portfolio from the work of Matt Sumell. Matt is a graduate of UC Irvine’s MFA program, and his short stories have appeared in Faultline, The Brooklyn Review, SaltGrass, and NOON. Currently, he is finishing up his first collection of short stories, which will be titled "Making Nice".
Scholarship Competition 2008 Visit Website
This is the website I submitted for a full tuition scholarship competition to The Art Institute. The guidelines were pretty simple: submit an online portfolio of ten pieces of your past work and explain why, how, and when it was created. I chose to submit eight pieces of photography, one illustration, and one compilation. I won first place in the competition and am currently attending the The Art Institute under this scholarship.
Hightide & Pointbreak Youth Group Ministries Visit Website
The Hightide & Pointbreak Youth Group is a ministry that reaches out to high school and junior high students. The website includes information on when and where they meet, a calendar for parents and special events, and a pics/vids section of trips and activities done by the group.
