There is a unique design in toilet in India. Many toilets have an "Anglo-Indian" design which allows a single toilet to be used as a sitting toilet or a squatting toilet.

Public toilet in India, although, are not always the cleanest. Some are no more than a hole in the ground with the area filled around being concrete, which can absorb liquid.
